Headings
Create a first-level heading with # followed by a space and the heading text:
# First-level heading
## Second-level heading
### Third-level heading
Continue adding # characters for deeper heading levels.
Text emphasis
*Hello, World!* <!-- italic -->
**Hello, World!** <!-- bold -->
***Hello, World!*** <!-- bold italic -->
~~Hello, World!~~ <!-- strikethrough -->
The marker characters must touch the text; the spaces in explanatory examples should be removed.
Block quotes
Prefix the line with > and a space:
This is a quotation.
Horizontal rules
Three hyphens create a horizontal rule:
---
Images

The text inside square brackets is the image description. The parentheses contain a local file path or a web URL.

Lists
Ordered and unordered lists look like this:
1. First
2. Second
- Item A
- Item B
Tables
| Name | Gender | Birthday |
| ----- | ------ | -------- |
| Zhang | Male | 2000.0.0 |
When editing the source, remove unnecessary spaces if your Markdown editor does not render the table as expected.
Code blocks
Use three backticks and optionally name the language:
public
The language name, such as java or cpp, enables syntax highlighting.
